Porcelain Filling (Inlay - Onlay)

Porcelain fillings require two appointments to complete. In the first examination, the caries area of the tooth is cleaned and the tooth is prepared for the inlay and its size is taken. The measurement taken is sent to the laboratory.

In the second appointment, the temporary filling is removed. Next, make sure that the sealant is seated correctly. If the fit is satisfactory, the porcelain filling will be adhered to the tooth with a strong resin and polished to obtain a smooth surface.
